Absolutely LOVE The Iron Horse. It is an oasis for us and we find ourselves returning often. The food is fabulous, the rooms warm and the ambiance and care of the hotel is obviously important to the owner. Can't wait to return!
Very charming 1800's hotel. Absolutely beautiful interior, sweet staff and a wonderfully friendly and charming owner operater Tracy who has a wealth of wonderful history and stories about the Iron Horse Hotel. He made sure everything was perfect for every guest that entered thru his front door. The rooms are cozy and the food is wonderful starting with homemade cinnamon rolls and his famous fried chicken. Can't wait to stay there again and again.

Thanks Melinda, it was fun meeting you and your friends.

The chef did an excellent job on the dinner, and was very friendly and a truly nice person. He helped to make our 50th anniversary special. He treated us with his superb rum cake for dessert. Everything (including the service) was excellent! We highly recommend it.

When I told them I had been there yesterday and nobody said reservations were necessary, all I got was "sorry". The Owner was apathe... read more
Great historic venue, hospitality, and food. What a unique and fun place. The cinnamon rolls with breakfast were worth any length of drive! Be sure to make reservations for lunch or dinner meals because they book up quickly!
Lunch here was a delight, the owner has as much personality as the food...Lotsa! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Hope to visit the area again soon!
