Stayed here for a wedding, and we had a great experience. Chef Tracy and James were very good hosts. Food was amazing, and they did a great job with the wedding. Everyone was very accommodating. Loved hearing about all the history of the town and hotel. We will definitely come back for another weekend get away.

Loved my time at the Iron Horse Hotel and restaurant. Loved all of the beautiful antiques in the lobby. Our room was also wonderfully decorated with antiques. The food and service was top notch. Looking forward to going back hopefully to try the cannoli. The town is full of wonderful people ready to share the towns history

We had dinner reservations at the restaurant before we went to the Lyceum. Reservations were for 6pm. We walked in and the girl asked how many, we told her two and that we have reservations. She asked us to wait in the lobby while they cleared a table. 20 minutes later we walk back to the check-in area and she says 5 more minutes. Keeping in mind that two others came after we did, sat and ordered before we ever sat. She finally seated us, in a table that was empty and clear the whole time while we waited. Celebrated my birthday with family and friends at the Iron Horse and had a fabulous time. Dinner was delicious! Every single one of us raved about our food. The wait staff was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. They were very friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday a special one. Several of us spent the night and we all slept very well and loved our rooms. The hotel is charming, comfortable and I love the history of the building. Excellent food, service and view! Lovely outdoor patio if you desire, and seating for larger groups downstairs.....beautiful original décor in hotel rooms.....highly recommend!!!

Beautiful old Hotel. Great breakfast by chef Tracy. History stories by chef Tracy. Quiet little town rich in history. This is my 2nd time staying here both during off season will plan a trip soon to stay at peak season. Great stay thanks Tracy

We stayed here on New Years Eve because we had a wedding in the area. I can't say enough good things about the hotel in general, our room and especially our breakfast. It was amazing. Chef Tracy is a great host and chef and gave us so much history of blackwater and the hotel. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great night's stay!
