A completely wonderful experience! We loved the tour of the hotel and surrounding area. Chef Tracy gave a thorough historical description also. His meals were beyond description! Try the Shrimp Creole!
Chef Tracy and staff were wonderful. My daughters and I had a wonderful mother daughter retreat. Food was phenomenal! Will definitely book again to enjoy the small cozy retreat and hospitality.

Have visited Blackwater before. First time to spend the night in the Iron Horse Hotel. A beautiful historic hotel. I was amazed at how clean everything was. I was actually looking for dust. Couldnt find any. (UNLIKE at my house)The cinnamon rolls were out of this world. Breakfast was awsume and filling. Tracy, the owner and chef will tell you the history of the hotel and town. Now to see the rest of the town this morning. A must to visit and spend the night. Be sure to look at all the photos.
Charming, cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The food was wonderful! Loved the cinnamon rolls. Tracy, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again.

Jody and I had a great time at Arrow Rock and it's Theatre. we stayed at The Iron Horse Hotel and had a dinner that was out of this world.

Husband and I were part of the Rural Missouri booth at the Missouri State Fair but stayed in Blackwater. Arrived back in Blackwater later than expected and got to the Iron Horse about a half hour before closing. The owner, Tracy, welcomed us with open arms. We had a delicious meal and great conversation about the town. Special shout out to our server Devin who took good care of us.

This isn't just a hotel stay...it's an experience! This fabulous 1880's hotel is refurbished to its original splendor, and done with love and pride! The owner, Tracy, will share the history and the restaurant server, James, will not only be attentive to your culinary needs, but entertain you with his amazing voice! Loved it, loved it, loved it!
