Absolutely amazing food. Must try the mixed grill.
Tonight my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Iron Gate. We ate in the main dinning room, a very intimate setting. We enjoyed watching the staff work the wood fire oven. We order the Mixed Grill which included a superb Bison Steak, lamb, sausage, and quail. The Vin Santo wine was spectacular and I think we polished off a whole bottle. The service excellent. We could not have been treated better. There was never a moment when we were in need of anything. We will most definitely be returning to Iron Gate again.

Hands down favorite restaurant in DC. It has a very European feel. It's beautiful and the food is incredible. The staff is also amazingly well trained on food and beverage. Every time I have family or friends visit from out of town it is the first place I recommend.
