Grew up in the area, but have lived in Albany for 20 yrs. Never realized a higher end bar/restaurant like Ireses existed in the area. The martini menu is fantastic, and the atmosphere was very classy. Would highly recommend if you want to hang downtown without the "local" people watching experience.

I've lived in this area all of my life..and last week was the first time I've experienced Irises. One word- Wow! � The service, atmosphere, martinis, food, live music. I loved that, on a Friday evening, my girls and I could sit at the bar and not be surrounded by college students. It was very laid back, but had great energy. Awesome place. I'll definitely be back!
