Mandy amazing – I can't begin to explain my experience here. I moved to Austin from dallas, TX a year and a half ago. I had dread locks for four years and was ready to cut them. I got Mandy's name from a friend and made an appointment with her. I was soooo afraid I was going to have no hair left to do anything with. Great Service!Best Color & Cut in Town! – Happened up the salon by accident..called, made appt. and showed up. Didn't like outside of the building. but stylist was right on time, the inside atmosphere was fantastic, and my stylist listened to what I wanted and asked me all kinds of questions. Mandy is great!! – Girls... go see Mandy. My last stylist just kept my hair so boring and it was the same every time. Mandy updated my hair look, gave me some absolutely radiant color and the cut is amazing. She cuts one of my friend's hair and now Se's recommended to all of her business partners. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Understood my hair! – Iris salon is the best service and color job I have ever received in Austin ! I have been all over this area trying to find someone that knew and understood my hair type and no one knew what to do with it even those over priced salons. Their idea to fix it was to cut it all off! Not with Mandy, she knew exactly what to do and did an amazing job at it. Best colorist – If you have yet to find your kindred spirit colorist, look no further! David is the one!!!!!! I have never gotten more compliments on my hair on a regular basis as I do now. Since David did my hair I am consistenetly stopped and asked where I get my color done. I can't even begin to count the number of people who have asked for his card. These ladies are the best – I have been going to Iris now for a year and a half or more, and a better salon is not to be found in this area at such a good price. Iris is my go-to location for getting pretty before going downtown. Thuy and Ngoc are great nail techs, Thai does the best brow wax ever and they are all really nice ladies. They have recently added some new hair and nail products you can purchase there. Without Iris, i would be lost.
Fantastic Hair Designer – I went to raquel for my first hair cut and style today, and she is absolutely fabulous! She is an expert hair designer! She was very kind and friendly, and took plenty of time to consult with me about a new hairstyle and color. She was very knowledgeable about styling products and how to make the hairstyle work for me. She has a passion for hair and making people look fabulous! I felt so good about myself when I left! Great place – A friend recommended I visit Raquel for a color (highlights) and cut and I am thrilled I took her advice! Raquel is very friendly and easy to talk to, and did a fantastic job on my hair. I had applied my own highlights at home a few months prior and wanted a more professional look, and he pulled it off beautifully with highlights and a few lowlights- it looks so natural and fresh and totally brightened my appearance! It was because of Lisa that my friend and I tried this place. Due to our high variety of needs Pedi/fill/brow waxing, we drove up to this old time looking salon. It was questionable at first. When I go and splurge on someone else tending to my toes, I want to feel like I'm doing something major. That's right, for now, a pedicure is my version of a big job or a botox injection!
