I have come to the Ames Clinic for 2 yrs and have lost 25#. I have been able to modify my eating and activities to support my weight loss. I take an oral medication to help with metabolism.

I’ve been going to this clinic for about 8 months. I’ve lost about 30 pounds. The doctor is very knowledgeable and understanding. I was very clear from the beginning that I don’t want surgery. She was clear about the options I could take. She recommended that I also meet with the nutritionist. Both have been very helpful in my life style change.
My wife went here for help and because she didn’t want a surgery and couldn’t take medication to speed up her metabolism they couldn’t do anything for her. Provided no other options. If you don’t want surgery or an injectable for the rest of your life they have nothing for you.
