First Time - clean , bright and welcoming place on a late lunch Friday. Started with a Nonni Spritz, the French Mushroom soup and Tomato Basil Bisque - both soups were DELICIOUS, but not hot enough temperature-wise (lukewarm at most). My friend and I shared the Iovino starter and the Crab arancini balls (3 to order). Both hot and yummy! Brandin was our server and she was pleasant and friendly and attentive !! Will come back for a (dinner) entree next time !!
This is one of our favorite places in Pittsburgh
Popped in here for dinner with a friend at the bar. Bartender was great and gave us wonderful service. We started with two spritzes and they were as expected. I had the crab arancini and a Caesar salad. Arancini were delicious, salad was mediocre. Steak tips salad was a nice size and the meat was cooked well, but it was pretty boring otherwise. Based on other reviews, I think I would opt for a sandwich or burger next time.
The spicy blue cheese burger is amazing. Sweet potato fries are always great. The fried green beans are fabulous. The halibut is delicious. The polenta is wonderful. The chili is a house favorite. The service, bartenders and owners are welcoming, attentive and clearly care.
