I enjoyed the sushi, I am from Seattle, so I know fresh fish! The sushi was exceptional and the service and staff were friendly and great! Definitely recommend if in search for great sushi in Idaho.

We went to IOU hoping to eat good sushi and were VERY DISAPPOINTED! SERVICE WAS SLOW. A group that came in after us were served and we waited 1/2 hour just to have our order taken. The atmosphere was cold and BLAH. No charm at all and the one waitress looked like she just got out of bed. Will never return and would not even feed it to my worse enemy. Ate about 1/2 hour ago and starting to feel sick.

Today two of my friends and I visited IOU Sushi to celebrate a birthday. We sat at a table and had our "all you can eat orders" ready before the waitress came over almost ten minutes later to take our order. My friends order Saki and one of the cups had something stuck to the inside. The sushi came out at a rather quick speed which was nice, but the spicy tuna was gross as it seemed to be ground up. My sister and I went to IOU Sushi while I was visiting Boise, we have been searching for a great Sushi place for years in the area and FINALLY we have found our new favorite! The restaurant is decorated in a non traditional Japanese style but is very welcoming and warm.... The sushi was not only fantastic, but the service was exceptional, our server (TRINA) was the greatest! and the price is unbeatable all you can eat for under 25 bucks! I recently had lunch ad IOU sushi and am very very disappointed. I have yet to have such horrible service at any restaurant in Boise. I had to ask our waitress for soy sauce, our miso soup, and even had to track her down to pay! She never returned to our table to ask how our food was or to even refill our waters. The rolls fell apart and the Nigiri looked like a child had formed the rice. Presentation was horrible and the fish was not fresh. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Me and my husband had a rare nightout wih out the kids and went to IOU, it was great!!!!! The service was great, the chefs were so much fun, they made great suggestions and we like the food!!!!! It was our first time eating Sushi. I enjoyed it and will be going back again!!!!!!

A good friend of mine invited me to his Birthday Party last week and we dined at IOU Sushi. The service was phenomenal, value was exceptional and atmosphere was genuine. I recommend calling in advance for a large group :)
