The auction this year was very poorly ran. The audio was hard to hear the video screen didn’t work and the poor kids were not getting the money they have in years past
Haven't been there since I was real young. But what I do remember it was really a nice fair. Would love to go again.
Compared to the past few years this year's fair (2018) was a great improvement. Went to watch the draft horse show and was pleasantly surprised by some of the improvements. Animal enrollment was down but I guess kids just aren't into showing farm animals anymore. Not the fair of my youth when the fair brought big concerts in and all the barns were full, including the commercial barn but still an improvement over the past few years. The teen tent (foam) looked like a lot of fun and the racing ducks are hilarious. Good Job!
I came with my family and was really enjoying myself. We ate some great fair food and loved the 4h animals. It was severely disappointing to see that there were animals in the circus (elephants, tigers, lions, camels)that were clearly displaying signs of stress. It’s pretty common knowledge now a days that circus animals are treated poorly and live in subpar conditions. We visit every year since moving to this area and are never disappointed. Love that they help families save money by offering ride bracelets, event tickets and parking passes at a discount before the fair. We look forward to IFF every year!
