my doctor recommended doing this test and after paying cash price of $250 for this results came back “Uncertain “! what the heck does that mean? i’m curious to know how many people got that result. For 250 bucks I could’ve guessed that myself!

Be aware of big SCAM! My doctor ordered my NIPT test to from INVITAE, she informed that my out of the pocket would be more the $99. I received information from invitae that my estimated out of the pocket was $10. Few weeks later a received a bill of $550. They charged my insurance $2000 and my balance is $550. I contacted the company that informed that I opted to have my test proceed through my insurance and the costs are different. SCAM ALERT!!! I was told my test was going to cost $250, they billed my insurance $3750 and then I received a bill for $1350. I was told that I would need to go online and pay for the test before they ran it, I went online and could not find a place to pay for it because I didn't have an Order Number. They ran it anyways WITHOUT me authorizing it. Now they won't do anything about it because it's already been billed to insurance.

Poor customer service. Have sent 2 emails---no response to either. My results were supposed to be released to me on Feb 7, still no sign of them. My Dr was supposed to have results in about two weeks, took over a month. Per my Dr, results were negative, so neither my insurance nor myself will be charged. We'll see....
