I have CVS Caremark Rx by mail. Rarely do Dr. Black's nurses respond to requests until after about the 3rd attempt or if I call them myself. I have auto refill, so I am not checking up on the status of my Rx's since they are automatically refilled every 90 days for the year, but after not receiving my Rx, I decided to check the status only to find out that Inverness Family Medicine had not responded to CVS's calls so it never got filled.
After several years of poor reviews and my own experiences with Rebecca-Rude at the reception desk, it shocks me that she still works there. Can't imagine how tiresome it is to work with the infirm everyday, but if you are not able to do it with a smile and helpful attitude, then time to go!
Our family moved here from KY a little over a year ago. It was difficult to find a doctor that was accepting new patients. Dr. Huner, Dr. Miller, & their staff welcomed us and made us feel at home from the initial phone call. The wait time in the office was minimal. We were extremely satisfied with the results of the office visit.They are both professional and caring which is very rare at a doctors office. We would highly recommend to anyone.
Dr. Huner and her staff are amazing. I've received excellent care from them for about 4 years now. I've recommended her several time and will continue to do so!
The doctors are awesome. But don't go here, especially if you have high blood pressure. The office staff is the WORST EVER. They won't call you back and ALWAYS act like you're always inconveniencing them (I just want to schedule a followup). Like an office full of gradeschoolers.
I would say that the office manager does not show compassion toward the staff. Especially one that has been there many, many years and is not out on medical leave and being threatened by the office manager to return to work or be replaced. If the office manager shows so little compassion for her staff they just exactly how much compassion is shown for the patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Chris Black for most of my adult life. I've always found him to be wonderful, attentive, caring, skilled... everything you could ever want in a personal physician. I would trust Dr. Black with my life. HOWEVER... earlier this year, I began having a health issue one evening after office hours. This is the only time I have ever felt bad enough to call any after-hours service, but I wasn't sure what else to do. This is the most unprofessional doctor's office I have ever visited. When I first arrived, I heard the front desk staff laughing and gossiping loudly about some patients that they encountered earlier that day. Everyone in the waiting room could hear their conversation, they weren't trying to be descrete. Afterward, I went to the back for the LPN to take my vital signs.
