This company is not very informative on how to prevent lockouts in a Tesla. They will tell you all things not to do that will cause a lockout. Such as updates…just so you know not doing an update will cause a lockout and they will still charge you the fee even though there was a lack of education and miss information.

You get inconsistent answers. I have talked to many of the customer service reps asked the same question and received totally different answers each time. I was also told an inspection would be at no cost to me however I was at the mechanics place for over a half hour cause they wanted payment. I was also told that anyone could do the inspection on the Tesla by the service center and Intoxalock reps and this was not true. What you are told or what you watch on the training video is very different from what you experience. There needs to be better training to customers. Tell them what to expect with any case scenario. Such as insufficient blow with rolling retest… (eg. the device will alarm view message missed blow…continue to alarm then you will see a timer press the button and proceed with sample…this is not a violation) I feel like better education/training will make for a better customer experience.
