Worst home building experience. In fall of 2020 we had our first son and needed more space, so we found a lot but it was an InTown property. They said start to finish it would take about 10 months…. It’s summer 2024 now. My son is now 4, I even tried waiting to have my second child closer to the completion of the home but it still hasn’t happened. I realized if I continued to wait on my house I’d never be able to expand my family. Meanwhile we are still renting throwing money away we could’ve used to our house. This house ha... read more

Business response:

Dear Ylianna *******, Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and are committed to resolving any problems as quickly as possible. Based on the information provided by our sales manager Jenny Price, it seems that your home construction at the Mirasol community has faced significant delays, which has understandably caused you and your husband a great deal of frustration. We acknowledge that the 3.5-year construction timeline has been unacceptable and has eroded the trust... read more

I recently just closed on my home in downtown Las Colinas (Irving/Dallas) and after multiple delays that caused the home not to be completed on time for month after month for over 3 months costing me thousands of dollars due to their delays, the Sales agent Brit pushed me the close with less than a 24 hours notice when they said it was completed. My agent protested and asked to close a few days after but Brit kept insisting that if I did not close they would charge me $100.00 a day because the home was completed and the cont... read more

Business response:

Dear Anamaria, We want to sincerely apologize for the delays, unfinished work, and poor closing experience you faced when purchasing your new home from us. Providing an on-time, move-in ready home is our top priority, and we clearly fell short in meeting your expectations. We are disappointed to hear that your agent's concerns were not adequately addressed, last minute closing was pushed despite unfinished items, and the home was not properly cleaned before closing. This is unacceptable, and we will be following up with ou... read more

Their warranty department deserves zero stars!!!!!!! Sandra has always been very nice, but after several calls with her about issues with our brand new second floor A/C unit, I asked to speak to her supervisor (Terry). Sandra was not allowed to give his number out to a client that purchased a home three months ago. Really???? Seriously?? Her supervisor will not allow her to give his number out to a client that is having constant issues in their new home? You can imagine buying your dream home thinking that you bought with a... read more

Horrible! I have been experiencing so many issues since I moved in about 3 years ago. I had to replace the tiles in all 3 bathrooms, replace the AC blower, improper calking work... the list goes on. I have been having an issue with noise coming from the attic and I've been notifying builder for past two years ( thru the warranty app). I hear really creepy creaking noise when its windy outside. Not storming, just a little wind! which should not happen in newly constructed home. The builder guy came out a few times but could... read more

As part of their new homes, Intown provides a warranty service. They have a portal to log issues. I tried to create an account to log an issue of water coming through my ceiling. The portal didn’t recognize my address. I phoned and left 2 messaged for the warranty administrator to call me back, No response until the next day. On the 13th after an air-conditioning engineer had been to the house and reported extensive damage to my air conditioner, for which they refused to fix under the warranty, and they asked me to talk to t... read more

The worst builder. The house may look amazing but WILL have issues. Builder is uninterested in helping us out to solve any issues. When asked for a supervisor, no one can give you a number or a name. The sales rep. just say "thats something I personally can't do. im a sales rep." I call around, asking for a manager, supervisor, ANYONE, they can't produce a name. I call the number provided on their website and they still can't produce a name to a supervisor. I tell them my situation and they are talking to their co-worker ask... read more

I have complete and utter justified disdain for Intown Homes. I put a contract on a home in Cedar Branch in Dallas. The contractor said, "oh I get homes done in 120 days." This was last October. Home was going to be completed in late January or early February. With delays not passing inspections, the home was way behind. As the months went on the home was coming together and my realtor and the person working from Intown got in a little spat about updates and meetings. Apparently an email was sent to someone in Managem... read more

Do not trust InTown Homes. They did not have my townhome ready on the day of closing. They listed all the punch list items on a formal Exception List which both parties signed. Now 8 months later items still aren’t done and now they are refusing to do them. The project manager brags that their contract is iron clad so I can’t win in court.
