I am a HVAC pro who’s been in this trade for 26 years and have installed and serviced mostly icp products that I trusted them so much I installed an icp furnace in my own new home summer 2013 and registered it on line for the 10 years parts warranty with registration confirmation . Years go by and 2020 came then the venter motor gets so loud I can’t sleep at night while furnace is running . I was required to pay $125 warranty part exchange fee by the contractor that sold and installed Tempstar heat pump system to replace a warrantied part. Retail price of part was $300. You will not find in their Sales or Warranty documents any hint that a fee may be charged for a warranty part. The company's response to my inquiry was that they do not control distributor or contractor business practices. My 10 year parts warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on

The blower motor went out in my air handle / AC. I called ICP to have the motor warranted, but they wont give me the time of day as the homeowner. I have to pay $300 to one of their dealers to replace a motor you can buy on ebay for $150. They wont even sell me a replacement motor at full retail price. What is the point of a warranty if it costs you more than buying a new one? I will never do business with these clowns again!
