I purchased this product through Sears and I thought Sears most time has good reputation. Very surprise to me, this unit installed on Nov 2019, less than 3 years, there are some parts broken. One of air condition service want to charge 2300 for best repair and other option was 1900, 1000 and 550. My old one was 35 years and never had any problem.

This is second review of the dog eaters trash, I CP is producing! I could not figure out how to add to my previous review, so I'm writing another one! As a recap, last April, while spring cleaning the backyard, we sprayed my less than 4 year old unit, with the garden hose and watched the condenser coil, disentigrate before our very eyes! My ICP air conditioner has never worked properly since it was installed. I have spent thousands of dollars on an A/C that will not keep my home at 78 degrees in the summer. Every repair possible has been done on it and it still doesn't work properly. 3 different A/C companies have done everything they could to make the unit work. The manufacturer was no help at all. My old Trane unit cooled the house fine and the power bill was 1/3 the amount. The unit is 3 years old now and still not working properly. NEVER purchase ... read more

My brand new Comfortmaker AC unit is 6 months old, has required multiple repairs and is not operational 'again! I contacted ICP and they have all records of maintenance required to date. The unit has a 10 year warranty but they could care less to help in any way. They could care less and won't make an effort to honor their warranty and do what is professionally correct.. Three and a half years ago, I bought, what you might call a baseline Carrier air conditioner from Micheal's Cooling and Heating in Pineville, la. They gave me a great price and fast and efficient installation. I was quite impressed with their professionalism and how easily they did their job but --- my praise stops there! A couple of weeks ago, while spring cleaning the yard, we noticed, the three and a half year old, condenser coil, is completely rusted and is disintegrating, piece by piece! I have had one of their AC units for 6 months and it already doesn’t work. Waited on hold for hours and finally got a representative who hung up on me. Literally said “have a good day” while I was in the middle of talking. Later come to find that the warranty only covers parts and I will need to pay for all other services! It’s a scam that a place can sell such an expensive item that only lasts 6 months. I would never recommend the product and the customer service is terrible.

My 2 (Two Downstairs & Upstairs) Heil units were installed 3/17/17, to replace 2 Weatherking units installed in 1984 that still worked. In May of this year, the blower in the upstairs unit went bad (needed a 'module'), & the downstairs unit was low on freon. Further, the leaking coil in the downstairs unit required a $75. injection of leak seal something - total $257 5/17/21. Warranties cover parts only & leaking coils are apparently NOT COVERED! My less-than-2-year-old AC unit broke down for no particular reason. After a week of trying to get "any" answer (not just the one I wanted - literally anyone who could answer a fairly basic question) for what I needed, involving over three hours of waiting on hold, the "senior" rep eventually gave me the same copied-and-pasted info found on the Heil website. Completely and utterly useless. If and when the AC unit actually gets fixed, I'm not even mildly confident I won't get screwed over on my warranty.
