We had an urgent need and my wife's existing allergist was out of town for the week. We talked to Dr. Bitner's medical assistant (who was very nice) and gave her the details. She said they had an opening, would ask him, and call us back. When she did, the bottom line of his response was that he wouldn't be bothered. He was more interested in intra-system politics and possibly offending another IHC clinician than he was in the care and needs of the patient. Not very impressive for a doctor.
