Zero transparency and no help in resolving issues. They admitted me to the ER and pushed to get a CAT Scan done assuring me my insurance will cover it. I didn’t come in for a scan so I was very hesitant, but the nurse continued pushing and assuring me there will be no out of pocket charge. 6 months later I receive a bill for $543 for said CAT Scan. Shady business.
They outsource their billing to a company that just gives you the run around. Causing a lot of stress and financial strain on a bill we know is incorrect, but can’t find anyone that will tell us how to fix it
Very disappointing, below average care at an outrageous price. The care at University of Utah is twice as good at a fraction of the cost. After using this provider for several years, I would not recommend Intermountain Healthcare under any circumstance.
The hospital has been okay, unfortunately the billing department is terrible. They have been misspelling our name despite us taking in our driver's license, birth certificate and such they just can't get it right and so our insurance wouldn't pay. It's been like 8 months of a fight with them I just don't know how they could be so incompetent.
I thought a Doctor was suppose to help you get better and treat the individual. The doctor I saw was just a mouth piece for Big Pharma. He didn’t even ask me any in depth questions about how my health has been going. He just threw out a medication suggestion that he guesses might help over the vague medical history I gave him.
