I moved and nowI travel 1 1/2 hours to keep Dr Morgan as my specialist. I think that says a lot. He is awesome!
Dr. Morgan was my rheumatologist for RA for five years. I've had RA for 16 years, and have lived in many different states across the country since I've been diagnosed. Dr. Morgan is by far the best rheumatologist I've ever had. I moved away from Utah five years ago. I miss him greatly. I am thankful he put me on a medication that modified the disease as if it is non-existent. Both me and my doctor had to jump through hoops for weeks just to get them to even look at my referral. When I finally got the phone call to schedule, they end up telling me that my new insurance won’t be accepted (despite it being the same carrier as it is currently) because it is changing to a PPO. It was devastating to be immediately dismissed because of such a small issue after doing extra bloodwork and waiting even longer at this facility’s request. Being sick is frustrating enough.
