I’ve spent a lot of time here over the past 4 years, taking care of my elderly parents. I’ve had great experiences, even in difficult times but lately, not impressed. Between rude doctors, dysfunctional nurses and staff, but today takes the cake. With Covid-19, I haven’t been able to assist my mom with her medical treatments. Dr. Richard Gerry from General Trama Surg is very rude and does not have any bedside manners conducting with patients. He stated to the nursing staff and everyone in the office that I was a "blah blah blah case" from the hallway when the nursing staff was explaining my case. Then he entered my room with a rude attitude and attempted to talk to me like I am a idiot by asking "what would you like me to do" Well if I knew the answer I would not be wasting time and money sitting in his office. My mom was taken to the ER for dizziness, nausea, and cold sweats. She could not get up to walk. They were so worried about COVID that when all her tests came back normal the doctor confirmed it had to be COVID and they were done and she needed to go home until test came back. She called me to tell me this and to pick her up. I told her that her test had come in and it was negative.
