Use caution with for-profit agencies like Interim for hospice care in a long-term care setting. Our family used Interim for our mom, who has dementia. We experienced poor communication, unprofessional interactions with staff members, and questionable documentation of visits. We switched hospice providers and transferred our mom’s care to a non-profit hospice group (affiliated with a well-respected clinic) and have absolutely no regrets about the switch!
We are so grateful to the caring, professional, and capable staff at Interim. From physical therapy to occupational therapy and finally, hospice, they took great care of my mother. The care coordinator kept in excellent touch with me and the therapists always called, texted or left me a message after each session. I can't say enough good things about the hospice experience, too. At such a sad time they helped me sheperd my mother through a peaceful passing. Maybe they should be called Interim Angels.
We partner with Interim at my senior living facility. Sam does a great job checking in to see how our partnership can be the best. They always make sure residents are well cared for. I recommend them to those looking for home care.
Lee(or LouNot sure) went out of her way to help me with my severe knee pain. It was worse than it should be. She got on the phone with the nurses line and got me with the pain meds to help me out. Couldn't have made it if it wasn't for her. Thank you!!!!!!!
