I called to set up a first visit for a family member. I told the person this family member had cancer but they insisted that the patient needed to call. I understand patient/doctor confidentiality but I’m just making an appointment for someone that has stage IV cancer and is dealing with enough. I haven’t had this issue with any other Medical offices INCLUDING University of Miami Health Systems who never have given me an issue with this.
