I had an appointment over the phone, the person I talked apparently has Alzheimers, she couldn't remember what I said a minute before, it was a referral and ask me why she had to report to my doctor 🙃, long story short she asked me to contact 2 other therapist outside the service provider, and she will follow up with me every month, I didn't have any type of counseling or therapy for the time spent over the phone, is clear to me it was only about bleeding the insurance not about me or my issues, I hope this gets to someone ... read more
I set up an appt w/ her a week ago, even though I had some reservations based on our conversation. Not a lot of psych options here in NM for those of us on Medicaid and so I figured I'd give her a chance. The phone call was weird to begin with; she kept interrupting me, asked me the same questions repeatedly, seemed confused who she was talking to.
