While I wish we weren't "repeat customers" we love all of the wonderful doctors, nurses & staff at INOVA children's, especially the "PEDs South" crew (Amanda B, Amanda P, Suzy, Amelia, Sarah, Melissa, Valerie, & Larissa). Words can't express how these amazing people have helped us over the years! When your child is sick or in pain it's such a relief to know that not only will your child receive the best medical care possible, but also he or she will be greeted by such smiling faces & caring people.
We just want to express our gratitude for the staff here, particularly for the nurse Katrina in the PICU. We had a scare with our 15-month old son recently and ended up in the emergency room and then in the PICU. Katrina was our nurse overnight. She was amazing. It is so clear that she was meant to be a nurse. She embodies every quality that you could hope for in the person who is there to care for your child, while also having the ability to give parents comfort in such a scary, uncertain time.
