My 2 month old recently had to be transferred here and although the hour and a half drive from home wasn't pleasant it was well worth the trip. The staff are the most professional yet caring staff I've ever encountered in a hospital. They made sure our stay was comfortable and our wants and needs provided for. They even sent us home with extra supplies to help care for our little one. In my opinion they're the BEST choice if you ever have to go into the hospital with your child!
My teenager was admitted to the PICU with severe asthma and all of the staff was awesome! They took such good care of my son and our entire family. Dr. Banks was super and I felt we could not have been in a better place to get him healthy!
Spent a week at INOVA Fairfax after our son went into respiratory distress with pneumonia. I can't say enough good things about the staff, facilities, and medical care. They bent over backwards not only to take good care of our son but to make us feel as comfortable as possible in a really difficult and scary situation. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. NICU. This part of the hospital complex is amazing. We recently transferred twins here and the process was smooth and very professional. The care is professional and personal. I feel our boys will be well taken care of. There are strict protocols on cleanliness and non-parent visitors but as a parent they are exactly what we'd want. Tons of staff and the instrumentation is more advanced than the Level 3 NICU we came from.
Came here for a second opinion about my infant possibly needing surgery and they determined he didn't even need it. Only something small! Best care and great staff make you feel welcome and at home! If we ever need a hospital this is the one we are picking again! ! Thank you Dr Stephan Kim (pediatric surgeon)!
