Fantastic people, care, and beautiful hospital. Couldn't have been any better.
Daughter came in with possible broken toe and appendicitis. After 20 mins of intake/waiting, we were seen by intake nurse who whisked us back to... another waiting room, because two ambulances had just arrived. Fine, our daughter can wait, but that was very poor planning or triage. Once in, the doctor and nurse parade started... thankfully ruling out a broken toe or appendicitis. Sprained toe and influenza. I spent much of Friday night in the ER with my 4 year old son. I want to thank everyone who helped us out. I felt the care was excellent but the extra touches meant more than you'll know. One of the nurses gave my son a teddy bear that he has been carrying around all weekend. He keeps telling me how nice she was to give it to him. The teddy bear is wearing one of the stickers that another nurse gave him. He was in a lot of pain during much of the visit and these small things to make him smile made such a difference.
