Ok so first I will say the tag was friendly- I am dropping a family member off for admission- he is being admitted and tested COVID positive-I have been here over 3 hours and no one will take his med list from me. He doesn’t know it and apparently they cannot take the paper I have for them-I have to wait for the admission nurse. If I had not come in an N95 this would be infuriating! Why would you want to continue to expose me???-this can lead to MORE positive cases! Come on people! They didn’t even give the nurse an N95 unti... read more

This office is the most UNORGANIZED AND UN INFORMATIVE PROFFESIONALS I HAVE EVER DELT WITH !! You guys wasted my time and your time thanks a whole hell of a lot for nothing ... GET IT TOGETHER !! RecommendedI had spent all day into the evening in the Surgical Family Lounge at UPMC Shadyside during my husband’s surgery, and he was admitted afterward. I was charging my phone in the lounge when I got the call he was finally in a room, so I hurriedly unplugged my phone, got his belongings from a locker and went up to his room. I went in for severe symptoms of Covid 19. body aches, fever, chills, headache, hard to catch my breath. They took me back right away. from what I could see and hear there might have been 3 people in the ER. They came in and took an x-ray of my chest, nurse came in for blood. no one asked me during check-in if I had allergies I had to bring it up to the nurse. WOW. Some type of female DR came in said I had pneomonia asked me my symptoms I had to repeat them several times as she could not hear or understand me not sure which.... read more
