First very nice lady answering the phone you could tell she really wanted to help. However Innovative Pathology Services has been purchased by QUEST Diagnostic and could care less with patient needs. If you have surgery get a copy of your records and secure them as when your doctors retire those records are lost. Even if you paid for the records QUEST will not give patients a copy nor will they attest the copy of the record you have is accurate and true. Update: If I could give ZERO STAR review, I would. I called the number below...again. Directed me to ANOTHER number for billing, NO ANSWER. I cannot get an explanation from the office of the pathologist (who doesn't SPEAK to clients) as to WHY billing from 2 labs. ****************************************** First, whoever answers the phone is NOT helpful at all. I have had multiple encounters with this group. They billed my insurance using the wrong service codes. Then when my insurance refused them due to their error, they sent me a nasty letter in the mail threatening collections in 10 days if I didn't pay the FULL amount. Called, spoke to someone who assured me they would put it on hold, look into the billing and resubmit. 6 months later, another bill arrived threatening collections, as they STILL hadn't updated the billing code or resubmitted. terrible billing. false itemized billing to try and get insurance to cover things not done. internal investigation started.
Horrific billing service! Sent me to collections even though my insurance covers 100% of the procedure costs .I have called twice and was told not to worry about it, I should not be billed. Now they have sent me to collections (SCA). I have insurance through Covenant and employed here as well.
