Do they not care? My wife was diagnosed with macular degeneration and called Innovative Ophthalmology to get an expert appraisal of her condition and options. The receptionist wouldn't schedule her for a consultation or make a recommendation to point her in the right direction. If that is innovation, it's moving in the wrong direction.
I am so disappointed. We moved to this area in 2018 and Dr. Bowers was highly recommended to me. I was told she doesn't see patients for eye exams so I was scheduled with Dr. Hobbs. He spent time with me and I liked him. He told me I had a wrinkle in my left eye that I needed to see a specialist about as soon as possible. Because we were in the process of moving and leaving for another load in a day or two he had his secretary call a specialist's office in Missouri and my husband drove me straight there.
