I am so disappointed. We moved to this area in 2018 and Dr. Bowers was highly recommended to me. I was told she doesn't see patients for eye exams so I was scheduled with Dr. Hobbs. He spent time with me and I liked him. He told me I had a wrinkle in my left eye that I needed to see a specialist about as soon as possible. Because we were in the process of moving and leaving for another load in a day or two he had his secretary call a specialist's office in Missouri and my husband drove me straight there. Dr. Bowers fully explain my eye health and the surgery to correct them. She answered all of my questions. She is a very personable doctor with extensive knowledge of eye health.
I was sent to Dr. Barbara Bowers by the Veteran Administration for cataracts. I received a call immediately and was given an appointment within one week. I went to Innovative Ophthalmology and received extensive testing by very competent and nice technicians. I was greeted by Dr. Bowers and she was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Bowers and her staff are the best! I had cataract surgery and they explained step by step from the time you walk in till the time you leave with a cup of flowers! I recommend her and her facility with a 5 star rating!
Is it routine to charge $30 additional for a prescription for glasses? As well as the co-pay?
12 years ago I had artificial lens implants. According to Dr Bowers I should never have a vision problem. The lenses were artificial and would not age or degenerate Within 2 years I was back in glasses. I spent thousands of dollars. Only to have to spend hundreds more annually on exams and glasses. My most recent visit - January 13, my exam was $209, including a discount for no insurance. Quite steep considering I didn’t seethe ophthalmologist
Last night my right eye was hurting. I tried several things but couldn’t get relief. This morning I called Innovated Optomology and Dr. Hobbs removed a calcium cyst. Immediately felt relief and tonight is 100% better!
