Cute hostesses and waitresses. Great atmosphere. Menu has grown stale and mostly geared to seafood folks. Steak tips that advertised a "generous portion" were not very generous, and after returning undercooked steak to the kitchen only to get another batch of undercooked steak back, the lack of attention to detail is a major turnoff. Rice was also rather dry and not very flavorful. I'll probably stick to drinks only here from now on.
On June 29th 2018 Inn on the Blues hosted my daughter Heather Ames and her new husband Bryan Luther’s wedding rehearsal dinner. I was nervous as I had only seen pictures of the venue but I was extremely happy with Inn on the Blues. The food, the service and the view were amazing. I want to thank the owner Jimmy who helped organize this by phone and was able to accommodate 49 adults and 11 children from Long Island New York for the dinner but also quite a few of the 200 guests for the wedding after. The location is fabulous. They were out of crab cakes...😢 Steamers were $22 dozen, we passed on those... service was great, seafood was ok, not great as I would expect from a premium priced restaurant in Maine. I won’t be returning, I will try something else close by...
We waitedAnd hour or maybe a half hour for a Caesar salad and crabcakes but then they were out of crabcakes so we got a lobster roll and never ever again worst ever.lousy
We were there for the first time this past weekend and sat outside. Our server Seth was amazing ! We didnt have to wait long for drinks or our meal. He kept coming back to check on us and offer drink refills. He was very engaging and quite the conversationalist...Its important during tourist season.
