RecommendedCozy, clean and charming ♥️! The view from our room looking out at the river is absolutely beautiful! The room is spacious with comfort in mind! The dinning room and food is spectacular. The staff is incredibly sweet and they instantly make you feel like you are at home! 5 stars all the way around!!!
The Inn by The River is simple, quaint, clean and most of all super FRIENDLY!! Jamie took care of us from checking us in, making us great cocktails while serving an amazing dinner and best was her amazing breakfast she cooked. The free breakfast is great but the menu for the ordered breakfast is one of the best anywhere we have been... make sure to make time to stay for breakfast. loved the view, Reuben, seafood chowder and chicken marsala. Excellent service too!
The staff are friendly and accommodating. They are full of useful information and fun stories. The room was comfy enough, nothing special. The food was much better than I expected. Sitting by the fire on a cool night overlooking the Kennebec, listening to the river flowing was an excellent way to wind down our Rafting trip. We will be back.
One of my favorite places to go. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don’t forget early and great breakfasts!
Enjoyed this charming inn. Clean and comfortable room with a queen and a twin. Great food in the restaurant too! Lovely porch with view of the Kennebec River.
Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, great porch & fire pit with views of the river and lots of humming birds. Food & drinks spot on!! Great place to stay especially when rafting the river. We'll be back next year!!
