This is a great hotel.
If you are looking for an adequate place to sleep that is in a VERY convenient location, give this Inn a shot! My husband and son recently stayed here for 10 nights while in Portland on personal business. They negotiated a great rate, under $65 per night for this extended stay, and felt they received good value for the money. The room included a microwave, refrigerator, cable, WiFi, and there is a washer and dryer in the building for the guests to use. My stay started with a friendly and helpful front desk clerk, who answered all my questions and encouraged me to contact him if I had any more concerns it questions . Opening the door to my double queen bed room, it was exactly as I expected- a clean, basic room, but with a surprisingly pretty view of the Portland night sky upon opening the curtains!
The building is very old but the beds were comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The day man told us an awesome place for breakfast; Pinestreet Biscuits; very eclectic but delicious! We had soaps in the wrappers, the beds were clean.
