There customer service is a joke, they are super slow at repairs and dont follow maintenance guidelines. I am currently talking to a lawyer about damages, because of their negligence.

constant outages, & they don’t go fix the problem right away, probably going to have to buy a generator because of how awful this company is at keeping the power on

they have too many outages. Since I have moved into my current location I have had to purchase an expensive generator. It's to the point that every time the wind blows or we get snow we get ready for an outage. Far more outages than Avista. I get when you live in the country you should expect some of this but IP this is ridiculous.

The worst power company I've ever had! When there is a power outage, there is absolutely no urgency to restore it. There is no such thing as a couple hour outage....you can plan on days without power , ruined food, no water if you have a well. The only way to live in sync with this power company is to have a generator. I seriously wonder if they even work after hours to restore power.

Thank you for getting all our power back within a few hours on a Sunday night. Living in the country has its bonuses but not when you have no electricity to run pumps just to have water. I’ve been VERY happy with IP

Business response:

Good morning Mary, We are so glad you are a member and it is always a nice treat to get messages like this. We are thrilled to serve you and are proud of our line crews who brave the elements of all kinds to ensure power is restored. Have a great week! IPL

Inland Power and Light are shutting off people's utilities during this already extremely difficult and stressful Covid19 pandemic, even those who call and explain they are out of work and waiting on unemployment!! What kind of company could be so heartless??!!
