I recently cleaned my throttle bodies on my 2007 g35 sedan, there are a plethora of videos/tutorials of people successfully doing this. I went to have the idle air relearn done, they “performed” the relearn but it did not fix my rpm surge issue. The service manager then proceeded to tell me that I’m wrong and that it’s impossible to clean the throttle bodies and that I need to replace them because I did. This is incorrect.
