I have never used or even experienced a high engagement hub until I went with the Hydra hub set. Not only is the engagement impressive, but my bikes shifting performance has significantly become much more crisp than on a 3 pal hub. I would always get kickback everytime I would shift under load, and would mess me up to keep consistent power. The hub is now in my opinion more valuable than upgrading your drivetrain. It has almost completely transformed the way I can ride now. They are amazing!
