Terrible experience as an interior designer placing a simple order from beginning to cancelation. Their website asks for your contact info and then dimensions of the window(s), along with photos... which i completed. I then placed an order for 1 single window for a skylight and selected the type (acoustic vs standard). Then i was taken to an order page and charged $175... apparently this is a deposit for a laser measuring kit that they ship to you to take more measurements. RecommendedI was happy with the support for product selection, the quoting process, the measurement and now the end product. The primary purpose for my Indows is insulation from cold air and they are functioning. Our three season room was mostly insulated but the windows are only storm windows. I am not sure how the room will be when the temp get below 30 but we've had some nights below 45 and the room is still above 62. This was a much better solution for us than replacing all the windows. - Thank you
I ordered a indow window being that I live on a very busy, noisy street. It took a month to get the window for it to not even work. It is suppose to knock out 70% of noise and in all honesty it sounds the same. A well loss of $400. Not worth it. Please don't waste your money.
I filled out their form for contact on Jan 28th. It's now March 02, 2020. We have not heard a word from them. Horrible way to run a business. It's sad because a friend of ours referred them to us as they did a great job for her old stone home. Our circa 1747 stone home will now go another route.
These are storm windows that go in on the inside of your windows. They are easier to install-no ladders needed! Lighter weight! Colors to match your window sills. We have purchased 4 so far and really like them.
We have had the window inserts installed in our downstairs for a couple of weeks now and all I can say is - THEY ARE GREAT! Makes beautiful old windows perform like modern ones! I get the best of both worlds- keeping the gorgeous wood and wavy glass of my original 1915 windows, and the Indow stops the drafts and much of the heat transfer through the glass. It also significantly reduces outside noise.
I got my first Indow because a new neighbor moved in next door with several large dogs. They leave them outside and they bark and howl at all hours. indow has changed my life! I went from being woken up several tines a night to sleeping soundly. It has reduced the sound by about 70%. Now it I hear it at all, it spunds like the dogs are down the street. I am also getting them for my home office. Thank you Indow! I couldn't be happier.
