I’ve rented from Independent Property Management for 8 months now. My duplex is very nice and GREAT value for what I pay. Me and my roommates have never had an issue at all. Any time we need maintenance, it was fixed quickly. They don’t seem to always be in the office during the “open” hours, but that’s usually not an issue (drop box to pay rent and they’re pretty responsive by phone). Super nice and a pleasure to interact with as well! Property is clean and well kept.

I don't know where to start about this apartment. To begin with the apartment was delivered under the Realtor name Herman Shields whose one of the collaborator showed me an apartment which was looking nice and delivered something else after a month writing the lease for a year. I was in a hurry to shift by that time and I being a foreign student has my limitation to escalate this incident. Following that came a series of issues for a year. Poor heating , roaches and rats. The first property i rented was full of roaches. The second appeared ok although it showed initial signs of disrepair and dirty. Once we had it clean enough and moved all my stuff in, i had just cleaned the bathroom when suddenly from above came a flush of water through the ceiling. I proceeded to move everything back out immediately. I let the landlord know and that i would not be living there either. They refused to let me out of the lease. These people are horrible to deal with.
