Ibx screwed up my enrollment. I had to pay out of pocket for necessary prescriptions and lost my appointment for a scheduled surgery because they have an entire enrollment department that cannot be contacted by phone, either internally or from an outside line and that was who was needed to fix it. This is despite getting confirmation from the employer that coverage was active and after they had already deducted money from the paycheck. These guys are bully and a harassment. They have never processed my claim , made fake promises. Hold the reimbursement amount. They do not have a way to connect to imaging team. They have been telling me for past one year that they are trying to connect to imaging team and haven’t processed my claim yet. Such a harrasment! Be aware when you go for independence administrators!!! Such a pain ! They should be sued!!!
Need to bring these jobs back to the USA, over seas refuse to help and do not know what they are doing or saying. Cant even speak English ! SHAME ON YOU INDEPENDENCE ADMINISTRATORS
Horrible insurance and customer service. I keep getting billed co-insurance for preventative care that they say is covered 100%. They give me the run around saying they will speak with my doctor and the provider and that they will review the claim and then I never hear back. I never hear back and have to call them to find out that my covered preventative services have been denied again. Customer service is friendly but never gets me a resolution.
So disappointed with this insurance for 2025. Dropping Hackensack Meridian facilities and anything that has to do with weight loss no matter what. Started the process for a surgery about 5 months ago, scheduled and did preregistration at hospital, and scheduled time off work. I had to see 4 specialists, have an endoscopy, be put under anesthesia, a ton of testing, and take off work to do that for nothing.
