Worse insurance I have ever had, absolutely worthless. Should be criminal.

How did I just sit on hold for over 35 minutes (after being told my call will be answered shortly and my wait time is about 30 seconds) for the line to then ring and then get hung up on? What kind of system is this?
Terrible customer service. They rejected a medically necessary claim of mine. I fought with them for months to finally get retroactive approval. Independence dragged their feet for additional months so that they could claim the reimbursement exceeded reasonable timeliness. Absolute crooks.
