Dr Yi greeted my 11 year old son and myself with friendly professionalism. He took the time to listen to the patient, examined and explained the expected course of treatment and even had my son laughing! We left the appointment feeling well equipped and confident in the plan of care.
I returned to Dr. Yi after he surgically corrected my trigger thumb many years ago. His professionalism, knowledge about the hand and simple way of explaining things is very much intact. He explained all of the options available to me and I decided to go with a Cortizone shot in my trigger finger, which generally has about a 50% chance of improvement without surgery. The good news is it worked overnight, and I have returned to nearly full function without pain already. Dr. Yi is the best!
I've been seeing Dr Yi for years (nearly a decade). No one has the combination of knowledge, skill, 'bedside manner', professionalism, and personality that he does.
Very informative, good plans made
Top notch hand surgeon, knowledgeable, kind and caring as well. Very thorough and wanted to be sure all underlying medical issues (osteoporosis) were addressed as well. Initially saw him 24 hours after badly fracturing both wrists with significant bone displacement with initial reduction in the ER. Dr Yi thoroughly explained the severity of the injuries, various options, and his recommendations. Ensured that all my questions were answered. Surgery was quickly scheduled for 48 hours after the consult. Surgery went well. Di Yi... read more
Ok, I appreciate his conservative approach and treating on the spot. I didn’t like that I was to schedule a follow up in 6 weeks but yet he wasn’t available until 12 weeks so had to go with PA, and then hope to be called before August.
Dr. Yi is very good at what he does. He explains things clearly and helps you visualize what is happening to your body. He gives you the percentage of success per treatment option. I recommend him highly for any hand related issues.
When Dr. Yi comes into the examination room to meet with you, you know immediately that he has looked at your documents, tests, and can make comments that show you he remembers you. I felt attended to, and he was able to provide me with options that would help me and still have additional options if need be. I recommend him highly!
Top hand doctor in my opinion Had been to two doctors who misdiagnosed and performed surgery Went to Doctor Yi after problem persisted He diagnosed my injury immediately and preformed surgery to correct it; 20 years later and it’s still functioning well
