Meet the Business Owner Melody W. Business Owner Melody Wolfertz returned to her home town of Rockland in 2000 after thirteen years of chef and restaurant management experience. While managing the Wine Seller, she saw the need for a place where people could go to drink good wine in a relaxed environment. In Good Company opened in July of 2004, inspired by this wish. Good food (fantastic bread), good drinks, nice staff,
hated the options on food menu. the only thing good was the steak.

The food and the atmosphere are excellent. We make a point to go whenever we are in Rockland.
Me and my wife walked in during a snow Strom and ordered a perfectly braised ox tail and a crab and Angel hair pasta. This was a couple years ago but I never forgot how good everything was. Wine list was excellent too.
