Improving lives counseling has amazing therapists. I am a single mom of a 17-year-old son who is dealing with a lot of issues like depression and anxiety. I've had a hard time trying to communicate with him and getting him to respect me. He got set up with Michael Quiroz as his therapist. And I don't know how he would do it. I have not had the best experience going through this company for therapy. I've had two different therapists with them and both worked the same. Stay silent and let me fill up the time talking. I would try telling them I had nothing to say or couldn't think of things to talk about. I got no guidance. They waited in silence. They both were just silent and would validate some feelings from time to time. But that isn't what I need. I've talked through my trauma for years. I'm very aware of it. Improving Lives Counseling does just that. I have had a great experience with each staff member I've met and they make it really easy and accesible to get the help you need, when you need it. I highly recommend them.

Improving Lives Counseling is very welcoming to Graduate and Undergraduate interns. I have experienced Mental Health professionals who wanted nothing to do with me, because I was still a student. Improving Lives invests in the future of Mental Health professionals and provides a vast range of educational experiences. Each case is carefully considered and customized to meet the clients goals. Highly recommend!
