I am pleased this dirty joint had been closed. The owner Sherrie had a DWI conviction and fled the state as she could not deal with consequences. Sherrie apparently had a drinking problem she could not control and clients finally had enough of her attitude, shoddy work, double booking appointments, fits and false accusations of clients that stood up for themselves and involved law enforcement.

Dingy little place, roaches in the corners, hair on the floor, unsanitary, sMell of burned overprocessed hair. I thought Westheimer salons close to Galleria would offer something much nicer, but was disappointed. Got a bad vibe off of the colorist, she seemed argumentative and stuck up. Did not trust her with my hair.

I was neither happy with the work she was doing, nor with her attitude when my color would not turn out the way it was supposed to. Now I know where all the positive reviews come from. I did not suspect anything when Sherie asked me to write a good review for her salon. I did not think it was honest, so I just dismissed the request. After being very disappointed with the attitude of my previous stylist, I looked at reviews online and contacted Sherrie. I went in for a consultation and came out with a great cut and gorgeous color. Sherrie is so passionate about what she does. She is always professional and definitely adamant that you be happy with both color and cut. Sherrie also gives good information about hair care, which is very helpful. This place claims to be somewhat of an upscale salon, but in reality it is a tiny dirty place in the very back of the building, reminds me of a dingy massage parlor in a bad part of town. There is just one "colorist" there, who does not seem to be bothered with double booking her appointments and clients walking into the piles of other peoples' hair. Sherrie is fantastic and has a great eye for color. Past hair dressers would choose a color for my hair and just use it every time. Not Sherrie. Each time I come in she takes the time to determine just what my hair needs to bring it back---and often this requires different treatment. She definitely has a personalized approach!

Sherrie is a great colorist! After years of coloring my own hair, I had dyed it was too dark to try and cover my ever-growing gray. In one appointment, she was able to get all of the dark color out of my hair and give me a beautiful natural color with lots of softness and shine. I have been seeing Sherrie every month for almost a year. Her salon is clean and I love the personal attention. I have never had to wait long after my appointment time to get my hair colored.

Sherrie is my best kept secret...BUT everyone deserves great hair...so, I'm letting you in on my secret weapon! She's the best. I came to Sherrie almost 3 years ago when I was literally at my wits end. I have naturally red hair and NEVER EVER colored it.
