Il Piccolino, Ill attitude – This used to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants in LA, but my last visit left me less than satisfied and more than annoyed. I've recommended this restaurant to many clients and friends, so I can only hope that they didn't have to deal the likes of my latest dining experience at this place. 5 out of 7 ain't bad – 5 of the 7 diners (including one gourment chef) thought it was great (mainly the turkey bolognese). My half chicken was terrible--dry, tasteless (and, to paraphrase Woody Allen, "Such a small portion"). Worse than Denny's. I would've sent it back, but they kids were taking us out to dinner, and I didn't want to trouble them. I won't go back, and will try to get them to pick another place, if they recommend it again. Not as expensive as some of the other places they take us, in fact.
FANTASTIC FOOD – I loved the food and the Amdience. Simple,elegant and fantastic. Would recommend.
