Something really funny happened to us here� it was our first day in the US and we had a meal here which was quite expensive but ok. We left 7 dollars as a tip and didn‘t really give the amount a thought and left the restaurant. As we were out in the street and well away from the restaurant, the head waiter came running after us, yelling; excuse me sir, was the food not good? Really enjoyed our meals and the staff was great. Ate there twice this trip and would definitely go back. Unbelievable attention to a food allergy I have.... Thank you to our servers, Jessica last week and to Nalukai and Chef Adam tonight.... Awesome job!
Food was alright but our waiter was horrified very lax in his job multiple times !
Just ordered the spaghetti meatballs with gluten free pasta. The pasta was undercooked which I mentioned to the waiter. I mentioned I didn't want it remade (as I didn't have time) but thought they would want the feedback. The waiter told me that was just how gluten free pasta tasted (I am Coeliac and have tasted many types of properly cooked gluten free pasta). she then said she could get it remade where they could 'over cook' the pasta. Waiter was awful to busy doing nothing!!! Food came out cold wine came out late waiter told us he had New Years off and I see why!
Had the best experience just at the bar. Was totally entertained by the bar staff, who had a great sense of humour. Ended up getting a few appetisers while we drank and that was dinner finished with a house red that was to die for. Definitely going back for more tapas before we leave on Friday but have booked dinner for 9/1 when we return from Maui for two nights in Hawaii before coming back home. Highly recommended.
Hidden gem. Best Italian in Honolulu. Located by the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Hotel gardens.
