It was fabulous. – I had my son's rehearsal dinner on Friday. It was fabulous. The food was excellent. The staff were very professional and friendly. We had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend IL Fornaio.
I have eaten at several Il Fornaio branches in the past, and have always had very plesant experiences. The food quality is fantastic, and the wait staff tends to be extremely attentive and friendly.
I like the fresh bread they have. The pastas are always good.the calamari appetizer is very nice also.
Pizza was really good – the pizza was really good and the delivery was fast
Great service, pretty good food. I'm a regular here - love the butternut squash ravioli. The cocktails are also great.
Love the monthly specials. Get a regional festival card to have even more fun and win a trip to Italy! I love this place and the wait staff are so great, especially Bella!
Chef Lalo is a super star. If you get a chance attend a wine paring dinner. They are really fun. On a summer night their patio is really beautiful. Often my husband and I will sometimes just hang out at the bar and take advantage of their bar/happy hour menu. Many items for just $3.00 plus drink specials. The bartenders are all really nice.
Delicious Lasagna – The food at Il fornaio is consistenly delicious. I had the lasagna with the bechemel sauce, the beet salad and the tirmisu and all of it was great. The service is excellent as well. The experience is so wonderful at this restaurant that one takes it for granted. The Burlingame location is also fantastic.
Consistently Excellent – Pizza or Pasta, Grilled Chicken or Fish, Il Fornaio always delivers a delicious meal, perfectly prepared with delicious flavors. Recently, I've been taking advantage of the Passport where each month the chef features cuisine from a region of Italy. I know they've been doing this for years but I just started taking advantage of it. The only drawback is if you miss one month you cannot qualify for the grand drawing which is a trip to Italy.
