We have been here two times in the past year. I realize thare are many great dining options in Georgetown, but this place is truly AMAZING! Fantastic food and service! Do yourself a favor and try it out!
What a great place! I've been living in the States for years now and I can't never find a good Italian style pizza. I was finally able to eat one one at Il canale. Great service, friendly staff and amazing food. Can't ask for anything better. We will be back once in town!

Took boat from Alexandria to Georgtown. Looking for a place to have a nice dinner and came upon this restaurant. Immediately met by friendly staff curbside offering pizza slices. The server was prompt and friendly never allowing glass to empty. The food was AMAZING thin sliced pizza mild tomato sauce along with an outstanding pasta dish. Scenery was perfect combination of people and friendly surroundings. Italian spoken all around. Thank you very much for a wonderful dinner.
