Sama and the team at Ilagai Motors are excellent. I'm very happy I've found my new local trusted mechanic. I was advised by another mechanic that my clutch needed replacing and that it would cost $5000. I looked around and found Ikagai, whose quote for the clutch was lower. Here is the kicker - my clutch did not need replacing at all! After the Ikagaai team replaced my spark plugs and engine mount, they called and informed that my clutch did not need replacing at all, as it was fixed with their repair. Tried buying a car here. Absolutely poor quality of service… was thrown around by the owners and the finance company they were using for weeks. Tried for a trade in then insulted my car by saying it had factory defaults and was a “dealer show car” after offering a price, they went lower while using made up nonsense excuses. Sleezy sales tactics wouldn’t recommend spending time here.
Honest. Knowledgeable (of the JDM). Great customer service. Good FAIR pricing. So rare from many mechanics. But these guys are the epitome of what a service shop should be like.
The overall experience was smooth and professional. The staff were helpful.
