Need IKEA in Birmingham, AL! I love shopping in the Frisco store but I have never had a bad experience in any IKEA store.

I was able to get the vases I needed for our wedding at a great price and a few other goodies....round 2 coming soon!!
Crowded, some nice furniture (and some not so nice) some nicely priced kitchen and other areas of the house equipment. Basically, a lot of everything. My wife and I were looking for ideas for some areas of the house, and besides picking up some ideas to perhaps buy the items later, we found a number of things to start a needed redecoration of our house, at a reasonable price. Not a place to go to regularly, but fun as a destination and to pick up things we had been needing.
Long waiting lines. Extremely noisy, dirty and crowded in the restaurant area. So crowded, like in a public transportation (not clear areas for passing and reaching the drinks). I could not hear my own phone speaker (not mentioning the phone itself) from the noise and echoing on the floor. I would be interested to know the noise level measure there. IKEA is one of our places to go to see furnishings that not every other dept store offers. My favorite are all the "tiny-house" arrangements. We're about to start living in an RV, so I like that IKEA caters to those living in small spaces.
