Very frustrated by overall IKEA experience. Bought a dresser; the package was marked as comes in 2 boxes. Next day at time of assembly found parts missing - customer care now advises me that there is a 3rd box. Made 2nd trip to pick it up. Started assembling again and found more parts missing. Had to spent 2 hours over phone with CSR comparing items in box with instructions - very painful. The CSR said they will ship the missing parts. On calling again, they did not even document the conversation properly!! Wasted my weekend... read more
It has everything and more. A lot of thought put into these stores to making a great customer experience.
I was disappointed with our visit. We wanted to buy 2 end tables. When we went to check out / pick them up, there was only one on the shelf. There were more, but the item was stacked too high and couldn't be reached during store hours. We came a long distance to the IKEA store and were unable to return the following day. Why would they have only one item left on the shelf. Why wasn't this restocked prior to store opening. We were there early morning, therefore I hardly think they sold any that day.
