I was looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate the new year (with my two daughters and boyfriend). We were not disappointed. After watching fireworks in Town Lake we walked across the street to III Forks. Started with the chicken fried lobster appetizer which was delicious! My 13 year old daughter and I split a huge 22 oz ribeye, my daughter had the salmon and my boyfriend had the bone in filet mignon with Kings butter, all were cooked to perfection. RecommendedIII Forks was recommended when we came in for a conference. Wow!!! I almost ordered the scallop dinner, but decided that when in Texas one should eat meat! I had the filet with king's butter. I like a good steak, but this...... this was the best steak I have ever put in my mouth. The sides were amazing! Wish I had room for dessert, they all sounded to die for! Oh and the service was TOP NOTCH! We called and gave them like 20 minutes notice for a party of 12 and they handled it like aces!
I very rarely write a review for restaurants. To be honest this is the second time ever. I show my appreciation by the tip and how I treat them. I don't currently work in the restaurant business, but I used to be a cook and manager and I know how hard it can be. Specially on a day where Neville and the other's should be enjoying their family (thanksgiving). Neville was very professional and was always checking up on me and my sister.
